The third season of Stranger Things released in July 2019 but due to the pandemic causing delays the fourth season will be arriving a few years after the third.

Netflix has said the fourth season will be released in summer 2022, but no exact date has been set.

Stranger Things Season 4 announces release date of Summer 2022

## Friday Night Live Baseball

Apple and Major League Baseball have announced a new show on Apple TV+ called ‘Friday Night Baseball’. The show will be aired weekly with a live pre and postgame show and will be available to Apple TV+ subscribers in the following countries:

- United States
- Canada
- Australia
- Brazil
- Japan

Friday Night Baseball will expand to additional countries in the future.

For subscribers in the United States and Canada there will also be a new 24/7 livestream with Major League Baseball game replays, news, analysis, highlights, classic games and more.

## New Colours for iPhone 13 and 13 Pro

The iPhone 13 and 13 Pro Max were both announced at the Apple Event in September 2021. The iPhones both included the latest A15 Bionic Chip, improved cameras with a new cinematic mode, improved battery life and more.

Now all iPhone 13 Mini and iPhone 13 come in a new green colour and the iPhone 13 Pro and iPhone 13 Pro Max  a new Alpine Green colour. 

Pre-order for the new Green and Alpine Green iPhones will begin on March 11th and availability starts on March 18th.

## New upgrades for iPhone SE and iPad Air

iPhone SE now includes the A15 Bionic Chip, which is the same chip found inside the iPhone 13. The A15 Bionic Chip includes a 6-Core CPU with two high-performance cores and four high-efficiency cores making the A15 Bionic up to 1.8x faster than iPhone 8.

The iPhone SE includes a 4.7 inch display with the same Home button and Touch ID as the previous generation.

iPhone SE will be available to pre-order beginning Friday, March 11th with availability starting on Friday, March 18th. Pricing starts from £419.

The iPad Air now comes in five colours: space grey, pink, purple, starlight and blue. The device also includes the M1 Chip which offers a 60% performance increase over the previous generation.

The iPad Air will be available in 64GB and 256GB configurations and preorders will begin on March 11th, with availability from March 18th. Pricing starts from £569.

## Apple Silicon M1 Ultra

Apple also announced a new addition to their M1 chip lineup: the M1 Ultra. The chip features a technique Apple is calling ‘UltraFusion’ - where the die of two M1 Max chips are interconnected to create a system on a chip ‘with unprecedented levels of performance and capabilities’. The chip maintains industry-leading performance per watt; consists of 114 billion transistors and can be configured with up to 128GB of high-bandwidth, low-latency unified memory accessed by the 20-core GPU, 64-core GPU and 32-core Neural Engine. According to Apple, video professionals can transcode video to ProRes up to 5.6x faster than with a 28-core Mac Pro with Afterburner.

Apple’s innovative UltraFusion uses a silicon interposer that connects the chips across more than 10,000 signals, providing a massive 2.5TB/s of low latency, inter-processor bandwidth - more than 4x the bandwidth of the leading multi-chip interconnect technology.

Apple says M1 Ultra features an extraordinarily powerful 20-core GPU with 16 high-performance cores and four high-efficiency cores. It delivers 90% higher multi-threaded performance than the fastest available 16-core PC desktop chip.

For the most graphics-intensive needs, like 3D rendering and complex image processing, M1 Ultra has a 64-core GPU, which is 8x the size of M1, and even uses 200 fewer watts of power.

Memory bandwidth has increased to 800GB/s (10x the latest PC desktop) and can be configured with 128GB of unified memory. The 32 core Neural Engine in M1 Ultra runs up to 22 trillion operations per second, speeding through the most challenging machine learning tasks, says Apple. Apple says the M1 Ultra, coupled with the new Mac Studio, can play back up to 18 streams of 8K ProRers video simultaneously.

## Mac Studio and Studio Display

Apple’s flagship announcement of the event was the new Mac Studio and its new Studio Display. The new Macs come in two configurations: either with the M1 Max or the all-new M1 Ultra.

It features an 27-inch 5K retina display, a 12MP Ultra-Wide Camera with Centre Stage, and a high-fidelity six-speaker sound system coupled with spatial audio.

Greg Joswiak, Apple’s Senior Vice President of Worldwide Marketing, said: ‘We couldn’t be more excited to introduce an entirely new Mac desktop and display with Mac Studio and Studio Display. Mac Studio ushers in a new era for the desktop with unbelievable performance powered by M1 Max and M1 Ultra, an array of connectivity, and a compact design that puts everything users need within easy reach. And Studio Display — with its stunning 5K Retina screen, along with the best combination of camera and audio ever in a desktop display — is in a class of its own.’

The new Mac is built in dimensions of 7.7 inches and a height of 3.7 inches. Over 4,000 perforations are located on the back and bottom of the enclosure guide air through the internal components and help cool the high-performance chips.

**Mac Studio with M1 Max:**

- Up to 2.5x faster CPU performance with the fastest 27-inch iMac with 10-core processor.

- Up to 50% faster CPU performance than Mac Pro with a 16-core Xeon processor.

- Up to 3.4x faster graphics performance than the 27-inch iMac, and over 3x faster than Mac Pro with its most popular graphics card.

- Up to 7.5x faster than the 27-inch iMac, and up to 3.7x faster than 16-core Mac Pro when transcoding video.

**Mac Studio with M1 Ultra:**

-Up to 3.8x faster CPU performance than the fastest 27-inch iMac with 10-core processor.

- Up to 90% faster CPU performance than Mac Pro with 16-core Xeon processor.

- Up to 60% faster CPU performance than 28-core Mac Pro.

- Up to 4.5x faster graphics performance than the 27-inch iMac, and up to 80% faster than the fastest Mac graphics card available today.

- Up to 12x faster than the 27-inch iMac, and up to 5.6x faster than 28-core Mac Pro when transcoding video.

The SSD in Mac Studio delivers up to 7.4GB/s of performance and a capacity of up to 8TB, allowing users to work on massive projects with incredible speed and performance.

On the back, Mac Studio includes four Thunderbolt 4 ports to connect displays and high-performance devices, a 10Gb Ethernet port, two USB-A ports, an HDMI port, and a pro audio jack for high-impedance headphones or external amplified speakers. Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth 5.0 are also built in.

Mac Studio also embodies two USB-C ports, which on M1 Max supports 10Gb/s USB 3 and on M1 Ultra supports 40GB/s Thunderbolt 4. There is also an SD card slot on the front. Mac Studio also provides extensive display support - up to four Pro Display XDRs, plus a 4K TV.

The new Mac’s display is a 27 inch 5K retina display boasting over 14.7 million pixels. With 600 nits of brightness, P3 wide colour, and support for over one billion colours. True Tone technology automatically adjusts the display’s colour temperature as the environmental changes for a more natural viewing experience. Nano-texture glass, first introduced on Pro Display XDR, scatters light to further minimise glare while delivering outstanding image quality.

Studio Display also features the A13 bionic chip and 12MP Ultra Wide camera with Centre Stage. The Display also includes a studio-quality three microphone array with an especially low noise floor for crystal-clear calls and voice recordings. Four force-cancelling woofers minimise distortion and produce bold, articulate bass and two high-performance tweeters are found in the speaker systems. The speakers also support Spatial Audio with Dolby Atmos.

Studio Display also has three USB-C ports that deliver speeds up to 10Gb/s to connect high-speed peripherals, storage and networking right into the display. A Thunderbolt port enables users to connect the display with other peripherals.

Mac Studio with M1 Max starts at £1,999 while the M1 Ultra configuration starts at £3,999. The Studio Display, sold separately, starts at £1,499. Customizable options include Nano-texture glass, a 64-core GPU and other accessories such as stands.

Cloudflare has been building itself up as quite an important company when it comes to web infrastructure, with recent expansion into new services such as its  alternative service to S3 from AWS.

- Revenue: $172.3 million, up 51% year over year.
- Gross Profit: $134.8 million, up from $87.2 million in Q3 2020.
- Operating Income (Loss): $26.5 million loss, up from $21.3 million in Q3 2020.
- Net Income (Loss): $107.3 million loss, up from $26.5 million in Q3 2020.
- Net Cash Flow: Negative $6.9 million, compared to $2.0 million for Q3 2020.
- Cash on hand and cash equivalents as of 30/09/2021: $1,813.9.

Cloudflare predicts a total revenue of $184.0 to $185.0 million in Q4 and total revenue for the full fiscal year of 2021 to be $647.0 to $648.0 million.
